Being charged with a serious crime such as murder can be crippling financially. In a similar case in 2008, ATF special agent Will Clark shot and killed a man in the Virgin Islands while intervening in a domestic dispute. The Department of Justice funded his defense, which took three years and went to trial, at a cost of about $875,000.  If Chris had the resources of DOJ, his case could easily cost $1 million.  Unfortunately, he does not. Our goal is to raise at least $50,000 to help offset Chris’ personal expenses.
